National Harbor is a large development of hotels, restaurants, retail stores, and residences located near the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, on the banks of the Potomac. Ceremonies can take place in a variety of places, including the Piers which have amazing views. Ceremony and reception sites include the Sunset Room, the Gaylord National, and the Westin Washington National Harbor. Weddings at National Harbor

Year round, the National Harbor waterfront is a fabulous place to have a wedding or an event! The Piers are great for a ceremony facing the Potomac, or in the winter the Sunset Room provides fantastic views while you and your guests stay warm and toasty. National Harbor is very close to Old Town Alexandria, which means you and your guests have a choice to stay onsite, or nearby for more attractions. Every wedding venue has unique traits and we have our list of favorites for National Harbor:

• The Sunset Room! This space lives up to its name, providing a beautiful view of the sunset for you and your guests for your ceremony, reception, or both! Sunset over the Potomac is a beautiful thing.
• Peeps! The only Peeps store I have ever seen is located at National Harbor — and it even says “Peeps in Love” on the window. It’s a very cute photo opportunity and I can’t wait until one of our clients decides to do Peep favors!
• Proximity. The National Harbor area is close to Old Town Alexandria, downtown Washington DC, Northern Virginia and Southern Maryland. It’s also extremely close to Reagan National Airport which makes guest transportation easy.
