Hotel Monaco DC

• We love Penn Quarter! It’s a place we frequent often socially and your guests will love being right in the middle of this neighborhood and some of the best restaurants in town! The location is also excellent for photographs, and is even near the National Portrait Gallery in case of inclement weather!
• The building! The Hotel Monaco DC’s building is a Registered National Landmark — it’s the original General Post Office building built in 1839, which has been beautifully restored.

Hotel Monaco Old Town Alexandria

• Old Town Alexandria is a dream come true for wedding photographers! It’s absolutely beautiful and has so many hidden nooks and crannies off the beaten path for creative wedding photography. We love to wander its charming streets and find amazing backdrops for your images.
• The decor in the Hotel Monaco Alexandria is beautiful — the lobby is incredibly comfortable and the rooms are very pretty and make for excellent photos of the bride getting ready!
