Caitlin and David had a beautiful winter day for their post-Christmas wedding! We were thrilled to have some fairly warm weather and lots of sunshine for their day. After a ceremony to honor their faith and their devotion to one another we headed to their beautifully appointed cocktail hour and reception at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. The sunset was fabulous and Caitlin and David got to watch it while I created some gorgeous images of the two of them. It was a wonderful day, even if there was a brief moment of “When Veils Attack!” Enjoy the images!

Kristen and Charlie had a beautiful fall day for their wedding! They were married at the lovely St. Mary’s in historic downtown Annapolis. Afterwards we had an opportunity to take some images in Sherwood Forest where Kristen grew up and where their reception was held. They had an absolutely beautiful setup inside the clubhouse as you can see from the images!

Susan and Jon were married on a beautiful, sunny day! They made their preparations at Jon’s parents’ home before heading to the church for their catholic ceremony. After the ceremony Susan and Jon and their guests enjoyed a breezy cocktail hour and reception in the Tavern Room at the gorgeous Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.

Elizabeth and Stephen were married at her parents’ home in Maryland. An international couple, they met in the UK where they reside and Stephen is from New Zealand, while Elizabeth grew up in Maryland. The very warm day was a lot of fun with guests from far and wide in attendance. It also happened to be Elizabeth’s birthday, so her friends made sure she had birthday cupcakes while she was getting ready!

The Gramercy Mansion Holli & Michael

We had the great pleasure of photographing Holli and Michael’s wedding at the Gramercy Mansion. The gardens were awash in spring colors as this year’s blossoms were just emerging. In the lovely bridal suite, Holli didn’t seem nervous at all surrounded by her mother and bridesmaids.

The couple saw each other before the ceremony for casual portraits where they shared a few moments and some private words of affection. Guests filled the romantic garden and enjoyed the lush green backdrop behind the lovely, emotional service. The couple’s lovebird theme adorned the dinner tables on the terrace. The festivities continued into the night on the dance floor at the reception, and then the couple topped off the memorable evening with a sparkler exit.

Katie & Kaipo wedding USNA

Katie’s friends and family didn’t want to give her any more reasons to be nervous about the big day, so they somehow found a way to keep the news of the storm from the bride until only hours remained. But after getting ready at the Loews Hotel, Katie was greeted with over a foot of snow – with more falling every minute! Over a sparkling white blanket that enveloped the city, the wedding party trooped to the Naval Academy in boots.
