Janet and Bill invited just their close friends and family for a sunset ceremony at St. Peter’s Chapel in Solomons, Maryland. The chapel is just beautiful and I love the images we took from outside. Afterwards we headed to Saphron Restaurant where Janet and Bill and their guests were treated to fantastic southern fare at this fun, family owned restaurant. Enjoy the images!

Melissa made her preparations at the Mayflower Hotel just before a beautiful Catholic ceremony at Holy Rosary Church near Penn Quarter. After the ceremony we commenced our whirlwind tour of the monuments for photographs, with a permit safely tucked in Ru’s pocket :) Then we headed to the Ronald Reagan Building for their reception in the Rotunda – such a great room with the most interesting architecture! Melissa and Ru paid tribute to their parents with a tea ceremony and a Polish blessing before kicking the celebration into high gear.

We have been looking forward to photographing Lillian and Montri’s wedding for months after a stunning engagement session during the cherry blossom festival. The Sunset Room at National Harbor is a relatively new venue and we were super impressed with the view and the ambiance of the reception. Lillian and Montri had a fantastic day, with a lot of great personal touches. This was our second opportunity to work with Lillian’s family (her cousin Victor married the lovely Lauren a few years ago and their little girl was the flower girl at this event!)
