Old Town Alexandria weddings

• I’ve never met anyone in the DC area that didn’t enjoy hanging out in Old Town Alexandria! Aside from a surplus of tourists in the summertime that create some traffic, Alexandria is really an ideal place to get married and to bring in out of town guests. There are a number of awesome boutique hotels that host weddings — especially the Kimpton brand, which includes one of my personal favorites; Hotel Monaco Old Town!
• Old Town Alexandria also has great shopping and fabulous restaurants — great for planning a pre-wedding rehearsal dinner!

Reston Town Center weddings

Reston Town Center is a very popular place to dine and shop – and it’s really pedestrian friendly. There are a number of hotels and restaurants in the Town Center and closeby that host weddings and other events for Northern Virginia couples!
Reston is very close to Dulles Airport for your out of town guests, and the hotels tend to cater to a weekday corporate crowd, which means there are great room rates on the weekends!

Tyson’s Corner weddings

Tyson’s Corner is THE shopping mecca of Northern Virginia – but it also hosts some of the most elegant weddings in Fairfax County. The Ritz Carlton Tyson’s Corner is a beautiful hotel and it’s actually attached to the Tyson’s Galleria mall! There are also a number of great restaurants like Morton’s and Chef Geoff’s where you can host a casual cocktail party or a rehearsal dinner for out of town guests and close family and friends.
