ABOUT YOUR WEDDING
Neither of my grandparents’ weddings were photographed, and my parents eloped. I can not tell you how much I wish I had photographs of those special days. My understanding of the importance of documenting these events for our families is what drew me to wedding photography in the first place.
Your wedding is an amazing day that will go by very quickly. All of your friends and family will be gathered in the same place, at the same time, to witness your open declaration of love. There will be tears, smiles, surprises – you’ll smile so much it feels like you will never stop. And I will be there to capture it all for you.
I limit commissions to 15 events per year.
ABOUT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
With a BA from Wellesley College and an MA from Rutgers, I took a job at the IMF, and settled in beautiful Washington, DC. After shooting two weddings as an amateur (at the insistence of friends), I decided to leave the career in international development that I had planned and follow my passion, becoming a full-time wedding photographer in 2006. It was a leap of faith that I have never regretted.
If you’re getting married in Washington, DC, Virginia, or Maryland, then we should talk! Oh, and if you’re planning a destination wedding, I have a passport and I’m fluent in Spanish.
On a personal note, chocolate chip cookies are my favorite thing on earth and I do spend quite a bit of time at crossfit when I’m not working. Coincidence?
