Park Hyatt wedding

Stephanie and Ron had a beautiful wedding at the Park Hyatt Washington in downtown DC. We really enjoyed  spending the day with them, starting with the preparation time at the hotel. Stephanie had a lovely suite and her mother and closest girlfriends were there to help her get ready, as they got pretty themselves! Laura Weatherly of Engaging Affairs and her colleague Maeve were a pleasure to work with – organized, efficient and friendly and fun all day!

Glen Echo Park

Stephanie and Ron were married at a lovely church in Potomac, Maryland and after we took some family photographs we headed to Glen Echo park for their portraits and some images of their bridal party. Glen Echo park is such a fun place to take portraits! (It does require a permit though, FYI). We didn’t have much time given that the rain was coming in, but we made the most of it.

By the time we were back at the Park Hyatt Washington, the staff and Petal’s Edge had transformed the room into a soft, glowing atmosphere. The head table was lovely and the guests loved the mix of different centerpieces. Between the dancing, toasts, and dragon dancers there wasn’t a single dull moment throughout the evening.
