Renaissance Mayflower Wedding

Heather and Adam were out of the country during the entire time they were planning their fabulous wedding at the Mayflower, and they still managed to create an absolutely spectacular celebration!

Ceremony at the Renaissance Mayflower

Heather and Adam had a brief meeting to see each other prior to signing the ketubah with their close families. It was a steamy day, so we stayed inside other than a quick portrait just outside the hotel. After the signing, their intimate, emotional ceremony took place under the chuppah in the Mayflower’s Chinese Room. Cocktails followed and then the guests were escorted into the beautifully lit and decorated Grand Ballroom at the Mayflower.

There was so much to see – the wedding was full of tons of interesting details and performances from a belly dancer as well as Russian dancers who performed both folk dances and the Bottle Dance, leading into a spirited hora and more dancing.

Guest enjoyed the funny toasts and the delicious candy bar and cigar bar (something for everyone!) as well as the delicious meal and impeccable service that the Mayflower is known for. As they say, it’s the second best address in Washington! Enjoy the photos.
