Wedding at the Chevy Chase Club

Lindsay and Brian are a wonderful couple and their wedding had an elegant, relaxed feel to it. It was wonderful to be a part of their rehearsal dinner at Dumbarton House in Georgetown, as well as document the wedding day at the Chevy Chase Club. We had fabulous weather for both!

We had an opportunity to create portraits prior to the ceremony, and they had a very sweet and touching first look. We took advantage of the beautiful grounds and of course the adirondack chairs at the club!

Chevy Chase Club ceremony

The ceremony took place upstairs at the Chevy Chase Club in a beautiful, candlelit environment. Lindsay has a close bond with her family and one uncle escorted her down the aisle while another performed the ceremony! 

Reception at the Chevy Chase Club

After the ceremony and the outdoor deck cocktail hour, the room was prepared by the ever talented Petal's Edge with ethereal clouds of baby's breath and candles. The room was beautiful and had a very soft, garden look as the light faded. Lindsay and Brian chose McCusker & Barrick for their band – and they were really phenomenal! I was very impressed. Guests enjoyed the toasts and dancing and later they showered Lindsay and Brian with rose petals as they headed off to start their life together. Enjoy the photographs!
