My goal is to document your wedding in a respectful manner, while creating the most beautiful images of you and your guests enjoying the beauty and fun of the day. I often work with my clients on engagement sessions, rehearsal dinner coverage, and the wedding. Having an opportunity to document so many great moments allows me to tell a meaningful story that reflects this wonderful time in your life.

I have been named as a preferred vendor in Washingtonian Bride & Groom 2010-2013. Most of my clients have not previously ever hired a wedding photographer – so I would love to give you an overview of the process as you are doing your research!

Please fill out the contact form or pick up the phone! I'd love to get the ball rolling by hearing more about your plans, checking our availability for your wedding date, and setting up a time to talk to you LIVE so that we can discuss it all. I am available to answer all of your questions. Our starting rate is $3900 for most events, but I can tell you more based on your needs. We work in the DC and Baltimore metro areas, including Annapolis and the eastern shore of Maryland. We are available for weddings elsewhere with travel rates.

Then What?

If you feel that I am the perfect photographer for your event, I can put together a collection and book your wedding date immediately via our digital client portal. It's easy! 

If you'd like to meet me in person and learn more before making a final decision, meetings typically take place in our downtown DC office. I can also arrange a time to chat via telephone or skype if you are not local. As I am the only lead photographer, dates are first come, first served!

Pre-planning

I would love to go over your plans and photography ideas with you before the event. The goal is to help you finalize a timeline (in conjunction with your wedding coordinator if applicable) that will allow plenty of time for the photography you want as efficiently as possible. To give you a general idea, ideally you will want to allow us at least one hour for getting ready, at least 35 minutes for portraits of the two of you, and at least 35 minutes for your family portraits. We can talk more specifically based on the timing of your day!

Wedding Day

On the wedding day, I will be there with my assistant to photograph the preparations, vows, emotions, toasts and dancing! All you have to do is enjoy the day and we'll document all of the moments so that  you can relive them through the images. I do all I can to be a calming presence to help you feel relaxed and have a wonderful time!

Delivering Your Images

It's hard to wait for your wedding photos when you desperately want to see them! But good quality work takes time, and we edit all the images by hand. So I've come up with a solution. Within 14 days of your wedding I will provide you with a preview of ~50 of our favorite photographs from the day. You'll immediately be able to share them with family and friends! Then 4-6 weeks later we will complete our editing and your full gallery of wedding images will be online for you to see and share! 

Album Design

You'll start by specifying your very favorite images for the album, and I'll create a design based around your choices! Once you finalize the design, I'll order your beautiful, archival album and have it in your hands as soon as possible.
